Lyla Vale

Music for Letting Go — and Holding On.

Electro-pop shimmer meets country-born storytelling.

Meet Lyla Vale

Lyla Vale grew up in New York on a steady diet of her dad’s old country records and the glossy, heart-on-sleeve pop of the early 2000s. Somewhere between Dolly Parton’s storytelling and Demi Lovato’s emotional punch, she found her voice — honest, soaring, and impossible to forget.

Now based in Nashville, Lyla writes music for the moments we don’t always know how to talk about. Blending shimmering 90s/00s electro-pop with the vulnerable soul of classic country, her songs live in that familiar space between letting go and holding on. Nostalgic but fresh, polished but deeply human, her sound is uniquely her own.

Lyla Vale blends intimate storytelling with a bold pop sensibility, crafting songs that feel both personal and cinematic. With a voice that’s equal parts velvet and wildfire, she writes with raw vulnerability and fearless emotion. From late-night bedroom demos to polished anthems, Lyla’s music captures the quiet chaos of growing up and breaking free. She’s not just a voice — she’s a movement.

LYLA'S WORDS

Words to hold onto.

A closer look at the verses, confessions, and late-night thoughts behind the music.

Riding these waves of pure delight
Carried by the ocean's might
Higher than I've ever been
Let the tidal rush begin
Crashing down and rising high
Like a seabird in the sky
Nothing else can make me feel
This alive, this wild, this real

"Tidal" (2024)

Discovered Tammy Wynette when I turned twenty-three
The way she sang her heartbreak, it was poetry to me
No choreography or glitter, just a woman and her pain
Made me want to learn guitar, made me want to try again

But Nashville's got its own rules, its own way to make you small
Publishing deals and co-writes, they got contracts for us all
Sometimes I miss that innocence, when music was just mine
When I could love a melody without reading dollar signs

"Heart in the Machine" (2025)

Twenty-eight, still don't know what I'm chasing
But I know it's not this
Coffee shop conversations about nothing
Weekend plans I always miss.

I want something I can't name yet
Something bigger than this room
Where my thoughts don't fit the small talk
And my dreams take up too much room.

I want to matter
Want to leave something behind
More than footprints in the sand
More than peace of mind
I want to matter.

"Something Bigger" (2025)
